Welcome to my webpage! I'm so excited to be an educator at Bullskin in our amazing learning community. I'm located in room 120 and provide learning support services to students in the 3rd and 4th grade.  I've been a teacher in the Connellsville Area School District for 5 years and am so pleased to continue my career here. 

 

A little background info: I graduated from CASD in 1999 and received my bachelors degree from Slippery Rock University in 2004, with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. After graduating, I headed south to sunny Charlotte, North Carolina.  I taught 5th grade for 7 years in the inner city schools in Charlotte. What an amazing experience!  During that time, I continued my education by earning my gifted certification, my masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and becoming a National Board Certified Teacher. As my husband and I started our family, we moved back to the Connellsville Area and have been here since, raising our 3 children.  I've been with the CASD since 2011 and have been with the Special Education Department, teaching both Learning Support and Gifted Education and traveling between South Side, Dunbar Boro, Dunbar Township, and West Crawford.  This is my first year at Bullskin, in the community where I live and I couldn't be happier that all the roads have lead me home!
